William W. Marston Three-Barrel Derringer, #2590, .32 RF cal., 3'' barrel group, originally blued with brass frame. Sights include fixed brass blade front and ''U''- notch rear sight in the barrel release lever. Markings include ''Wm W Marston/Patented/May 26 1857/New York City/Improved 1864'' on left side of the frame. Serial number is under the grips and the numbers 0,1,2,3'' are under the right side of the barrel selector switch. Barrels and frame with matching numbers. Mfg'd circa 1864-68. Overall condition is good, showing a dark brown patina to metal surfaces; pleasing even yellow patina to the brass. There is a thin piece missing from front edge of the left grip; otherwise, very good, showing moderate age and handling wear. Action is strong. Bores and rifling are worn. Est.: $800- $1,200.
